I've always been drawn to things that feel considered. Not in a perfectionist way, but in the way where you can tell someone actually thought about it before putting it out into the world. I got into design because I kept noticing the difference between products that felt like someone cared and products that felt like nobody did. I wanted to be on the side that cares.

What matters to me is that the person using what I build has a good experience. Not a 'good enough' experience, but one that feels intentional. I'd rather spend extra time getting the flow right than ship something that confuses people. I pay attention to the small stuff because that's usually where the difference is.

I'm the kind of person who downloads apps just to see how they handle the little things. The way icons animate when you tap through tabs, how a loading screen manages to feel playful instead of annoying, or the way a menu opens just a little differently than expected and it makes you smile. I also notice when updates break what was already working and suddenly nothing feels right anymore. That awareness of what delights people and what frustrates them is what I carry into my own design work.

When I'm not at a screen designing interfaces, I'm probably at a screen anyway, doing digital art and animations in Procreate. I also draw and paint with actual pencils and brushes. It keeps me creative in a different way and honestly gives me a fresh perspective when I come back to design work.
